The Story

In 1964, Toyota introduced the FJ-45 pickup, which followed the FJ-40 as Toyota's legendary Land Cruiser lineage. Considered by most off-road enthusiasts to be one of the most capable platforms ever constructed, the FJ series now enjoys a committed fanbase with professionally enhanced examples providing among the most impressive and rewarding all-terrain experiences available.

This 1974 Toyota FJ-45 Land Cruiser is a left-hand drive example that was subjected to a comprehensive frame-off restoration including a repaint in blue, reupholstery of the interior in brown leather, and overhaul of the suspension system. Equipment includes a front bumper with integrated LED lights and a Rough Country Pro Series winch, a bed-mounted cargo rack, an alarm system, a Vintage Air climate-control system, aftermarket projector-style headlights, 15-inch wheels and a Pioneer stereo.

Power comes from a 3.9L inline-6 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Black-finished 15-inch wheels wear chrome hubs and are wrapped in 33x12.5-inch Firemax FM523 M/T tires. A spare is mounted behind the rear axle, and the front axle features locking hubs.
