The Story

Celebrating 35 years of Camaro performance heritage, this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS SLP 35th Anniversary Edition represents the pinnacle of the fourth-generation model and the final year of production before Chevrolet retired the nameplate. With just 1,312 miles from new and one meticulous owner, this example stands as a time capsule of early-2000s American muscle.

Finished in its signature Bright Rally Red with dual silver racing stripes, this Anniversary Edition is instantly recognizable. The SS package added a functional hood scoop, rear deck spoiler, unique 17-inch alloy wheels and special 35th Anniversary badging and embroidery throughout. The automatic transmission makes it an easy and enjoyable cruiser while still harnessing the power of Chevrolet’s legendary LS1 5.7L V-8, producing 325 HP in SS specification.

Inside, the Camaro features Ebony leather upholstery accented with 35th Anniversary embroidery, a Monsoon premium sound system, power windows and locks, and air conditioning. The condition throughout reflects careful climate-controlled storage, with the interior, exterior and undercarriage showing virtually no signs of age or wear. As one of the final Camaros built before production ceased in August 2002, the 35th Anniversary SS marks the end of an era—representing both a collector-grade example and an important milestone in Chevrolet’s performance legacy. With its one-owner provenance, near delivery mileage and Anniversary specification, this Camaro SS is among the finest surviving examples of the breed.
