The Story

One of the most popular Chevrolets ever made, the third-generation Nova resembled a baby Chevelle, offering people muscular styling with an easy-to-use compactness that everyone appreciated. For the 1971 model year, the strongest engine available for the Nova SS was a 270 HP, 350 CI V-8, which is what can be found under the hood here.

This 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS underwent a complete nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration powered by a 350/270 HP V-8 engine linked to a 4-speed manual transmission. Not common on a Nova, this example has a host of options including air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, a clock and an AM radio. It’s finished in the beautiful shade of Cranberry Red, and the paint has been wet sanded and polished to a show-quality luster. Under the hood, the engine compartment has been detailed with a correct dual-snorkel air cleaner, correct stickers, hoses, hose clamps and finishes on components. The undercarriage has also been completely painted and matches the finish on the top side of this stunning Nova.
