2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Coupe

The ZR1 has become the ultimate expression of Corvette’s technology-driven performance legacy, which stretches back six decades. In 1970, Chevrolet offered a new ZR1 option package on the third-generation Corvette when purchased in conjunction with the LT1 engine option. This rare, high-performance option included solid lifters, a heavy-duty 4-speed transmission, power brakes, an aluminum radiator and a revised, high-performance suspension system. Only 58 ZR1-equipped Corvettes were sold that first year. In the model years that followed, the ZR1 package continued to be synonymous with Corvette exclusivity and high performance.

That milestone was commemorated in 2013 with an available 60th Anniversary Design Package as a salute to the final year of the C6 generation of the Corvette. This 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Coupe is one of only 138 commemorative 60th Anniversary ZR1s ever built. This ZR1 boasts a 6.2L supercharged LS9 V-8 engine that blasts out a whopping 638 HP through its 6-speed manual transmission.

Sold new at Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac Inc. in Dearborn, Michigan, this ZR1 comes optioned with the distinctive 60th Anniversary Arctic White exterior, which is complemented by the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group interior that includes Diamond Blue leather, heated power-adjustable bucket seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, embossed and embroidered 60th Anniversary logos, a special steering wheel badge, a head-up display with Track Mode and G-meter, and a Bose premium audio system. Unlike most, this example also came with the chrome ZR1 aluminum wheels and the 60th anniversary stripe package that were the only two options available. Other high-performance upgrades include a ZR1 performance suspension system with magnetic ride control, Launch Control with Performance Traction Management, and Brembo 4-wheel carbon ceramic ABS disc brakes with gray-painted calipers.

With only 6,000 miles on the odometer, this ZR1 Corvette presents an opportunity for a collector to add a great low-mileage example of the most desirable C6 ZR1 to their collection. Included in the sale are two keys, owner’s manuals and the original window sticker.
